Tyris Dontrell James

Tyris Dontrell James the beloved son of Michelle James and Milton Johnwell Jr. (Darlene) stepson of the late Rendell A. Jones Sr. Tyris departed this life on Tuesday January 30, 2018 in Metairie, Louisiana.  He was born November 16, 2000. Tyris attended Net Charter of New Orleans School. He leaves to cherish his memories brothers Tyren James, Rayshaun Davis, sisters Tyais Foy, Tylisha Bell, stepbrothers Rendell A. Jr., Travis and Tre Jones. Grandmother Shandel Stevenson (Alfred), Grandfather Mitchell James, Great grandmother Lyda D. Brown, Aunts Carmelitia James (Godmother), Tysheena Boggan, Metchika Anderson, Nacelyn James Combard (Byron), Brenda Williams, Denice Thomas, Delores Dennis (Dave), Melony Calwell (Ernest), Trulinda Augillard (Bryan Sr.), Uncles Derrick James Charles Stevenson (Theresa), Terry Brown (Darlene), Eric Brown, Mitchell James Jr., Mitchell Lee, Rayburn Fitzgerald, Shelton Winfrey, Godparents Eli Welch III and Tynisha Morgan and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members and friends.

Tyris preceded in death by his Grandparents Milton Sr. and Barbara Johnwell. Relatives, friends of the family also Pastors, Officers and members are invited to attend the funeral services on Saturday February 10, 2018 at Blessed Sacrament Saint Joan of Arc Catholic Church 8321 Burthe St., New Orleans, Louisiana. Visitation will begin at 10:00 and mass will commence at 11:00 by Rev. Charles Andrus SSJ Pastor. Interment in Restlawn Park Cemetery, 4040 Hwy 90 W, Avondale, Louisiana.
