Shirley Page Walker

Shirley Page Walker, was born on January 4, 1939, in New Orleans, LA, the second born to the late Joseph Page and Marion Zimmerman. She passed unexpectedly on January 8, 2021 while visiting family in Dallas, she was 82.

She grew up in the 7th ward of New Orleans on Kerlerec Street and attended Catholic School.
Shirley was a homemaker who loved being surrounded by her family. She also enjoyed cooking, word seek puzzles, sitting on the porch talking to her neighbors, but most of all playing cards with her grandchildren. She was also an avid reader. She will be remembered as selfless, sociable, and someone who always had a smile.

She is survived by her children, Sheila Bell, Malvin Honore Jr. (Rhonda), Aaron Forest, Sherri Forest-Renfro (Robert), Sondra

Walker, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, one sister-in-law, and

extended family. She will be deeply missed by family, friends and all who knew her.

A private viewing will be held Saturday; January 16, 2021, at Heritage Funeral Directors, Inc. in New Orleans, Louisiana.
