Selina Reynolds

Selina Allen Reynolds (Gram) peacefully entered into her eternal rest on July 29, 2024, at home with her family. Selina was born on January 11, 1935, at Charity Hospital in New Orleans where she was a resident for most of her life to Maurice Allen and Louise White. She was the mother of her beloved daughter Debra Anderson.

Selina graduated from Booker T. Washington High School. After which she worked hard as a clerk at One Shell Square and various other industries. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, taking bus rides(we all know to where), eating at various restaurants (seafood of course) and bragging (her favorite pastime) about all of it! lol She was a devoted member of Mt Hermon Baptist Church for over 25 years under the leadership of the late Honorable Rev. Ellis Dupleche, Sr and his successor, the Honorable Rev. Dr John Jackson.

Selina was preceded in death by her mother, father, daughter, a sister and 4 brothers. She leaves to cherish her memories, 1 brother Lawrence(Phyllis) Allen, 2 sisters Louise Allen, Eloise Murphy, 2 grandsons Tyrone(Angelique) Johnson, Michael(Felicia) Anderson Jr, 7 great-grandchildren Sheldon, Lindsey, Tye(Marilyn), John, Vincentia(Dominique Sr), Ronald, Micah 7 great-great grandchildren Zoie, Levi, Noah, Jayden, Malakhi, Kato, Dominique Jr, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Memorial Service will be held at Mt Hermon Baptist Church 2153 N. Broad St, New Orleans, LA 70119 on Saturday August 3, 2024. Services to begin at 10am with visitation and fellowship beginning at 9a.
