Rochelle Krantz Monnin

Rochelle Krantz Monnin, –  passed away at her home in Chalmette, LA on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at the age of 76. She was the cherished wife of the late Niles R. Monnin, Sr.; loving mother of Niles R. Monnin, Jr.; daughter of the late Joseph E. Krantz Sr. and Maria Sanchez Krantz; sister of Rebecca Krantz Eves, Michael G. Krantz Sr. (Janice) and the late Joseph E. Krantz Jr. (Mary); sister-in-law of the late Sylvester J. Monnin (Maxine), Inell Delaune (the late Donald) and Sylvia Schroeder (Herman). She is also survived and fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and her beloved furever babies, ChaCha and Lucky. Rochelle was born on December 6, 1942 in New Orleans, LA and was a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish. In her earlier years she was an avid bowler. She loved collecting Christmas knick knacks and you could count on her home being elaborately decorated for every holiday. She enjoyed gambling and would often casino hop. She will be forever remembered and deeply missed by her family, friends and all of those whose lives she touched. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial mass on Friday, July 12, 2019 at 11:00AM at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, 2820 Paris Road, Chalmette, LA.
