NIEVES ( SNOW) NEVAREZ

August 25, 1947 to January 1, 2025

 Nieves passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday January 1, 2025 at the age of 77. He is preceded in death by his father and mother Manuel Nevarez, Josefa Garcia. His sister Margarita Nevarez, and his brother Juan Nevarez. He was the beloved partner of 20 years to Norma Higgenbotham. He is the loving father of Daniel Nevarez (Vicky), Cecilia Nevarez, Krista Viola, and Brad Favalora (Jennifer). He was the grandfather to Dylan, Shannon, Dane, Xavier, Amanda, Emmaley, Sarah, Brynnan, and Ember. He was the great grandfather to Annarose. He was the cherished brother of Maria, Jesus, Jose, and Catarina. He is also survived by many nieces’ nephews and other family and friends. He was a loving partner, father, grandfather, great grandfather, son, brother, and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation and mass on February 8, 2025 at St. Clement of Rome catholic church, visitation is at 9:30 AM mass will follow at 10:30AM 4317 Richland Ave. Metairie, LA. #3027.
