Milton May

Milton May departed this life into eternal rest on Sunday, April 15, 2018. He was a loving and devoted husband to the late Betty J. May. Milton was born on May 9, 1934 to the late Ossie and Ethel McCray-May. In his early years, Milton was a bible educator, but later developed a passion for truck driving. Milton drove trucks for over 36 years. (S.K. Whittey and Howard Power Driving Co.) Milton leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted daughter, Stacey D. Singleton, a devoted son-in-law, Marvin Singleton, two devoted grandsons, Brian Diaz and Darren Phillips Jr., two devoted granddaughters, Penny Singleton and Delilah May, and a host of other family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Milton is preceded in death by one brother, James McCray, and three sons, Ferdinand Diaz Jr., Estus May and Lester May.

Visitation for Milton will be held Thursday, April 19, 2018 from 9am-11am at Heritage Funeral Directors, 4101 St. Claude Avenue, New Orleans, LA.

A graveside blessing will follow at Holt Cemetery.
