Melvin R. Porche Jr. (Nitty)

Melvin R. Porche was born on February 25, 1967, to the late Melvin and Gearldine Porche. He passed away at the age of 67. He received his education foundation in The New Orleans Public school system. Melvin was a Loving Father to Melvin III, Rodriguez, and Danisha Porche, Terry Dunn, and Phoebe Lewis. 

Grandfather of: Dasha, Damyri, Dru, Dakota, Juniani, Juliana and Colby; one great grandchild Kylie; Brother of Paul (Patricia)Barbarin, Roy, Michel, Bernie, Ashton Porche, Linda (Larry) Gabriel, Blanche Brister, Estella Lewis, and the Late Deborah Martin and Joyce Porche, Brother-in-Law of Ray Brister and a host of nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, relatives, and friends. The visitation will be held on Saturday March 1, 2025, at 10:00 am at Holy Anointed House of Prayers,1447 Senate St. New Orleans, La 70122. Visitation will begin at 9:00am until the hour of service. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Heritage Funeral Directors, 4101 St Claude Ave, New Orleans, LA. 70117.
