Limmie Vassar

Limmie Vassar was called to her final resting place on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at the age of 69. She leaves to mourn, one daughter, Wanda Fay Vassar, son, Dexter Lewis Vassar, daughter-in-law Felecia Vassar, 5 grandchildren, 4 sisters, Naomi Tatum and Gladys Vassar, Jefferson,La; Carrie Vassar and Edwina Caldwell of Champaign, IL; 2 brother-in-laws and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Green Vassar and Henrietta Vassar, 2 brothers, James C. and Ernest Vassar; 3 sisters, Thelma Wright, Mildred Brown and Emma Vassar.

Service will be Saturday, February 24, 2018, 10:00 am at Marine & Mt. Moriah Community Church, 3034 Andover Street, Jefferson, LA 70121. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am until the hour of service. Pastor Donald L. Robinson, Officiating. Interment: Providence Memorial Park.
