On Saturday, November 9, 2024, God called Lillian "Bea"McDonald home. She was a native of Woodville, Mississippi, but considered New Orleans her home after being here for 70 years. She leaves to cherish her fond memories her beloved children, Debra (Solomon) Colley, Phyllis (Arthal) Thomas, Kenneth (Donyell) McDonald and Barbara McDonald; two sisters, Luebirder “Bird” Jones and Cast “Blondie” Jones-Scott; and two brothers, Jean Autry and Wadel “Luke” Jones; 16 grandchildren, 38, great grandchildren, and 9 great, great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Her celebration of life and homegoing service will be Thursday, November 21, 2024 at New Hope Baptist Church, 1807 Rev. John Raphael, Jr. Wy at 10:00 a.m. Visitation 9:00 a.m. Interment: Providence Memorial Park.
