Kwame Morris, 20, departed this life on Thursday, January 11, 2018. He was born on January 13, 1997 in New Orleans, Louisiana. He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother Wendolyn (Natalie) Morris; his father McKinley Goins, Jr.; his grandparents, James Morris, Sr., McKinley Goins, Sr., and Rhenda Goins; one son Kamari Morris; five sisters, Sierra Morris, Kyra, Kensley, Kyra, Kamari Johnson; two brothers Wendall Morris and McKinley III; three aunts Gwendolyn and Ronique Morris and Shonta Goins; five uncles Ivan, James, Jr., and Roman Morris, Chad and Chaz Goins; three nieces Sa’nya, Ja’ziya, and Malayah Morris; two nephews, Jayden and Jeremiah Morris; three great aunts Catherin and Alice Nevels and Laura Bell; his companion Alexis Perry; and a host of cousins, other family members and friends.

Kwame will always be missed and in our hearts. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Pearl Morris, his great grandmother and grandfather, four great uncles and one great aunt. Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral services on Monday, January 20, 2018 at 10:00 am at First Zion Baptist Church, 7201 Olive St., New Orleans, LA 70125. Visitation will begin at 8:00 am until the hour of service. Rev. D.R. Berryhill will officiate. Interment: Holt Cemetery.
