Jacqueline Gambrell Autman

Jacqueline Gambrell Autman departed this life on December 24, 2023 in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was seventy years of age. Jacqueline was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She worked as a registered nurse for 30 years and was very creative as shown in her crocheting, quilting and sewing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clabron John Julius Gambrell and Gertrude Qualls Gambrell. Jaqueline leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Willie Autman, four children Kwame Autman, Kanika (Douglas) Batiste, Jahi Autman, and Anka (Tanisha) Autman; eight grandchildren Kaiden Autman, Logan Autman, Myla Allen, Zoe Batiste, Jaquelyn Batiste, Destaney Batiste, Ava Autman and Iris Autman; four siblings Clabron John Julius Gambrell, Jr., Gwendolyn Williams, Barbara (Marcel) Walker, and Monica Gambrell and many more relatives and friends.

• Funeral services in her honor will be held on January 5, 2024 at 11:00am at LifeGate Church, 1317 Butternut Ave. Metairie, LA.

• Visitation will begin at 10:00am until the hour of service.

• Interment: January 6, 2024, 11:00am at Green Grove Church, 807 Tanglewood Rd. Lawrence, MS 39336. Jacqueline Gambrell Autman will be greatly missed.
