Herbert Pierce, Sr.

Herbert Pierce, Sr. – aged 71, transitioned to his heavenly home on Monday, October 22, 2018 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in New Orleans. The fourth child of the late Samuel Sr. and Florence Pierce, Herbert was preceded in death by his siblings, Florence Frezell and Samuel Pierce, Jr. He leaves to cherish his memories, a loving wife, Debra Wilson Pierce; his children, Herbert, Jr. and Ingrid Marie; 9 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, a future gift of God; his sisters, Brenda Randolph and Patricia F. Lewis; and a host of nieces, nephews and foster siblings.

Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral services honoring Mr. Pierce. On Friday, October 26, 2018, a visitation will be held from 5:00PM-8:00PM at Individually Unique Hall, 4138 St. Claude Avenue, New Orleans, LA. On Saturday, October 27, 2018, a funeral will be held at 10:00AM, at Word of Life Christian Center, 40066 Hwy 22, Darrow, LA, under the direction of Dr. Leroy Thompson, Sr.

Visitation will take place from 8:00AM until the hour of service.  Interment Providence Memorial Park, 8200 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA.
