Hasan Shiriffe Simms

Hasan Shiriffe Simms, was a New Orleans native born to the Late Joyce Ann Claiborne Simms and the
Late Owens James Davillier Sr. on November 29, 1974. He was the founder and CEO of Hoodstatus
Entertainment and Da Club Event Center. He departed this life June 19, 2021 at the age of 46. He was
the beloved husband of Kelly Tillotson Simms. Father of Hasan S. Mosley and Hasaniik B. Richards,
Stepfather to Emmanuel Herring Jr., Kayla Egana, Kevin Egana Jr, and Kesean Tillotson. Grandfather to
Ahmad, Mayson, and Ahmon. He will be cherished by his 3 remaining siblings Bayinnah Simms, Mujib
Simms, and Rashid Simms. His nieces and nephews Desanea Simms, Ralph O. Jackson III, Iesha
Simms, Malika Simms, Malik Simms Jr., Nyima Simms, Nassir Simms, Nadijee Simms, and Nawlin
Simms. Godchild Isaiah Simms, God Parents Lois Metoyer and Romalice Claiborne Jr., God sisters,
Chavela Capers Fortin, Arlinda Metoyer Batiste, and Caternia Metoyer. He is also survived by a host of
Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Great Nieces, Great Nephews, and Close Friends. He is preceded in death by
his parents, his brother Malik Simms Sr., His grandparents Romalice Claiborne Sr., and Julia Mae Burles
Claiborne.
