Gabriel Anderson

Gabriel Veronica Anderson-Coleman (July 30, 1964 – November 13, 2024) passed away at age 60. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Gabriel was known for her warmth, generosity, and faith. Baptized at Trinity Lutheran Church and a member of Bethel Lutheran Church at her passing, her faith was her guiding strength. Gabriel graduated from John F. Kennedy Senior High School in 1982 and pursued a career that included managing Luther’s Barbeque and later working at A1 Absolute Best Care, where she thrived. On October 25, 2003, she married her soulmate, Kenneth Coleman. Together, they shared over 20 years of love, raising her cherished children and doting on her three beloved grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her mother, Naomi Anderson, and her sisters, Yolanda and Angela Anderson. Gabriel is survived by her husband Kenneth, her children Simeka Anderson, Nikia Anderson-Agee (Aurthur), Aisha Anderson, and Shamar Jefferson, grandchildren A’Kia, Aurthur Jr., and Allee, brothers Ron and Sterling Anderson (Courtney), and a host of loved ones. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Bethel Lutheran Church,4127 Franklin Ave., New Orleans, LA., 70122.Visitation will be held from 10am-12noon the service will start at 12pm.
