Floyd Bernard Duplessis

Floyd Bernard Duplessis, passed away on Monday, November 29, 2020 in New Orleans, LA at the age of 70. Born December 6, 1949 to the late Beatrice and Alvin Duplessis, Floyd is survived by his first wife, Gladys Duplessis; children, Sophia, April, and Michael; sons-in-law, Jeffrey and Willie; and daughter-in-law, Yolanda; grandchildren, Sanaa, Sieanna, Ariel, Allon, Makayla, and Marcus; siblings, George Davis III, Patricia Edwards, Evelyn Brooks (Karl), and Joycelyn Griffin (Myron); and a host of other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Timothy Edwards and Donald Davis.

• A funeral service celebrating the life Floyd Bernard Duplessis will be held on Friday, December 11, 2020 at 11:00am at Christian Fellowship Family Worship Center, 5816 East Judge Perez Drive, Violet, LA.

• Visitation will be held from 10:00am until the hour of service.

• Interment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 4000 Norman Mayer Avenue, New Orleans, LA.

Funeral services are by Invite Only.  Everyone else must attend the visitation.  Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all attendees must wear face masks.
