Fay “Paw Paw” New entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at the age of 89. He was a native of Clayton and a resident of New Orleans, LA. Husband of the late Louise Tyler New. Father of Robin (Gerald) Meads, Donald (Patricia), Charlette New and the late Fayetta (William Sr.) Cockerham and Ronald New. Son of the late Albert Sr and Amanda Washington New. Brother of Gloria Hawkins, Bobby Jean New, Hattie and Hazel Tyler. Preceded in death by 5 Sisters and 1 Brother. Survived by 11 Grandchildren, 13 Great-Grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

• Relatives, Friends, Pastors and Members are invited to attend. The service honoring the life of the late Fay “Paw Paw” New will be held at Mount Zion United Methodist Church, 2722 Louisiana Ave., New Orleans, LA., 70115 at 10:00AM on Saturday, January 22, 2022
