Dorothy May Allen Bethely

The scripture 1st Thessalonians says: For the Lord himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ shall rise first.
 

Dorothy May Allen Bethely, was born in New Orleans, LA on July 23, 1940 and died April 11, 2021. Dorothy Bethely was born to John Wesley Allen Sr and Elizabeth Barr Allen. Dorothy graduated from Carter G Woodson School and later attended 3 years at straight business school. Dorothy’s employment covered a wide range of jobs in New Orleans and New York. Dorothy Bethely met Jesse Bethely Sr. and one year later they were married on February 23, 1963. Later God blessed them with 4 children, 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.. She was a member at Caffin Ave 7th Day Adventist where she became a bible worker. Dorothy Bethely will be truly missed. We know that she is asleep awaiting the return of the Heavenly Father.

• Services will April 23, 2021 at Seventh-day Adventist Church, 1029 Caffin Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70117.

• Viewing is at 8:00am to the start of service at 10:00am.

• Repasts: 1029 Caffin Avenue.

• Interment Private.
