Doris West

On Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at the age of 95 in New Orleans, LA; Doris was called into the Kingdom of God. Doris leaves to cherish her daughter Gelone (Melvin) Hulbert and two sons, Kenneth West, Kerry (Denise) West. She also leaves behind 4 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 1 great great granddaughter. Doris is preceded in death by her parents, Octavia Vincent Lewis and James Madison Lewis Sr. Her siblings, Beatrice Chapital, James Madison Lewis JR., Viola Lewis Terry, Evelyn (Lillian) Britto, Oscar Lewis Sr., Vincent Lewis, and Eunice Lewis Woods. Doris is survived by her children, nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives, and friends. Thanks to the staff of Heart of Hospice. The Funeral service will be held at Corpus Christi Epiphany Catholic Church, New Orleans LA on Saturday, June 22, 2024. Visitation Time: 9-10:00AM. Mass will begin at 10:00AM. 2022 St. Bernard Ave. Father Henry Davis is officiating.
