Corey Green

Corey Green, age 47, transitioned on December 18, 2024. He was a proud 1995 graduate of St. Augustine High School and earned a B.S. in Accounting from Fisk University.

He is preceded in death by his father, Eligah Green, Jr. Corey leaves behind a loving wife, Rulonda Green; two beloved sons, Colin and Kaleb Green; his mother, Brenda Green; two sisters, Karen Jenkins (late Darryl) and Sharon Lair (Corey); his brother, Larry Green; his mother-in-law, Burnetta Knight; his father-in-law, Rudolph Smith (Bettye); his brother-in-law, Felton Magee (Sabrina); aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to A Celebration of Life service on Friday, December 27, 2024, at 10:30 a.m., at The Church at New Orleans, 11700 Chef Menteur Hwy., New Orleans, LA 70129. Bishop Kevin J. Boyd, Sr., Officiant. Visitation is at 9:00am – 10:30am. Interment at Westlawn Cemeteries, 1225 Whitney Ave., Gretna, LA 70056.
