Colleen Martin

Colleen Faye Martin departed her earthly home on Sunday, January 26, 2025. She was born November 21, 1953, in New Orleans, LA. Colleen lived a full and eventful life, always enjoying her time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd Gerome Ancar, Sr., and her mother, Verlin Faye Ancar. She leaves behind four children: Quincy Martin, Sr., James Harris, Jr., Oprah Martin, and Terry Pearson, Jr. She was also the grandmother of Quincy, Jr., Harmony, Jayce, Jaxton, Jasmine, Jocelyn, and Allyna. She will be missed by her brothers and sisters, Lloyd Gerome Ancar, Jr., Laverne Williamson, Gilda Price, and Troy Ancar. Colleen leaves in loving memories of her aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on February 12, 2025, at the Hosanna Fellowship Church, 400 Weidman St, Gretna, LA 70053. Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
