Cheryl Moore

Cheryl Moore, age 69, departed this life on May 02, 2022, at her home. Cheryl was born January 14, 1953 to the late Eulis and Dorothy Yearby Moore, she is the mother of Ninja V. Ballard (April) and the sister of Cynthia Moore (Joseph V.) and Steven Jenkins, she’s preceded in death by her daughter Tyra Michelle Moore, granddaughter India Ashante’ Moore, and nephew Shannon Joseph Moore. Cheryl leaves behind her longtime companion Reginald Taylor, three nephews Terrell, Merrell, and Shawn Moore one niece Joell Moore and a host of great-nieces and nephews. Cheryl was a lifelong resident of New Orleans La. where she was a graduate of Alcee Fortier High School, she was an employee of Liberty bank, and New Orleans Safe Driving School, and later moved on to open My Turn Driving School.
 

• Relatives, friends, family, pastors, officers, and members of First Pilgrim Baptist Church, and New Orleans Safe Driving School are invited to attend the celebration of Cheryl’s life on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at 10:00 AM at First Pilgrim Baptist Church,1228 Arts St. New Orleans LA,70117.

• Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM until the hour of service. Reverend Eugene Mitchell will be presiding.
