Carolyn Jackson

Carolyn Smith Jackson, age 64, was born on February 28th, 1960, in New Orleans, LA. to the union of Robert Alfred Smith Sr. and Zenobia Smith. She departed this earthly home on February 7th, 2025. She retired from Harrah’s Casino. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Emmanuel Bowden, 5 children Kenneth, Kendricka, Jessica, Leroy and Kadijah Jackson and Jamal Woods. 7 grandchildren, Khalil, Kaden, David, Jarrell, Karson, Sheldon and A’Loni. Siblings, Sheila Morgan, Gwendolyn Leblanc, Debbie Nelson, Dinana Smith, Robert Smith Jr. and Ronnie Smith. A host of nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, and friends. Special longtime friends, Paula, Terry, and Michelle. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Byron Jackson and granddaughter, Khloe Jackson. Carolyn loved shopping and eating out with her daughters and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
