Bernard Bradstreet

Bernard Bradstreet, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, on November 5, 1961, transitioned peacefully in Baton Rouge, La at the age of 62; on Friday, August 16, 2024 after a long and courageous battle with his declining health. He was the beloved son of the late Keeno Bradstreet and Emma (Finley) Lawrence. He confidently accepted our LORD Jesus Christ as his savior at an early age.

Bernard was preceded in death by his father, Keeno Bradstreet; mother, Emma (Finley) Lawrence; sister, Kay Artemese Bradstreet; and his two older brothers, Keeno Jr. and Leonard Bradstreet.

Bernard leaves behind cherished memories with his surviving siblings: Mary Milton, Patricia Bradstreet, Poppy Nicholas, and Vernell Bradstreet. He was a devoted father to his two daughters, Anitra Bradstreet-Blay (Mark Sr.) and Nikisha Bradstreet-Thomas. Bernard was also a proud grandfather to four grandchildren: Mark Jr., Mariah Blay, A’ja and Angel Thomas who will continue to carry on his legacy.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 31st for 11:00 am at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church 1249 Leboeuf Street New Orleans, La 70114. The final viewing times will be reserved from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.
