Beatrice Gordon Crenshaw, born December 14,1936 in Greensburg, LA transitioned peacefully at the age of 87; on Monday October 21,2024 in New Orleans, LA. She was preceded in death by her late husband Jerry “J.C. “Crenshaw; mother, Lena Mae Bennett Jackson; father, Bennie Gordon; siblings, Edgar and Henry Jackson, Talmadge Gordon, Evelyn Watkins, Annette Berry and Leola Gordon. She leaves behind cherished memories with her surviving daughters Vanessa Crenshaw and Debra Hughes, grandsons Errol Crenshaw, N’Guy & Reonard Hughes; great granddaughter Remi Hughes; siblings Dora & Charles Jackson, Zenovlia Campbell, Cleveland, Ernest, Clarice, Fochie Mae & Lizzset Gordon, Cynthia Miles, Georgia Roy, Shawanda Henderson, Idora Solomon, Kimberly Coston, Gloria Hebert, Ulysess Wicker; a host of loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Homegoing Services will be held 11 am Thursday Nov. 7,2024 @ New Hope Baptist Church, 1807 Rev. John C. Raphael Jr. Way, New Orleans, LA. 70113. Rev Jamaal Weathersby, Pastor and Officiant.
