Armond Davis, 37, passed away on May 7, 2024. His family and friends will remember him for the beautiful, smart, funny, sunny beacon of light that he was. Armond was born on July 31, 1986 at Charity Hospital in New Orleans. He attended Mary Bethune Elementary and Fortier High School. He excelled in sports, specifically football. At the age of nine, he was baptized at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. At a young age, he moved to Baton Rouge with his loving grandmother, Yvonne Harris. He was a dedicated employee of Vonnieab’s and Respite Company for over a decade. He enjoyed family gatherings and spending time with loved ones. For those that knew Armond, he had a smile that could light up a room and a laugh that was contagious. He was a loving son, brother, and friend. He had a thirst for life and experiencing all that it had to offer.
Armond leaves to cherish his memories of two sons; Armond Jr. (AJ), Daylen; two daughter Armani, Amari. He also is survived by his loving mother Joann Walker, stepfather Michael Walker; his grandmother, Yvonne Harris; his brother Malik Walker, and a host of other sibling’s aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Armond is preceded in death by his grandmothers Elaine Davis and Anniebell Davis; his aunt Elaine Davis and uncle Joe Davis.
Family and friends are welcome to attend a celebration of life, which will be held at Cypress Grove Baptist Church on May 18, 2024 at 11:00am, doors open at 10:00am.
