Antionette was born on October 11, 1960, to Marion Kenner Jones and James Jones, Sr. She was the youngest child in the family. Antionette was educated at McDonald 42 Elementary School, Andrew J. Bell, Middle School, and John McDonald Senior High School where she was a proud member of the Class of 1979. Antionette made her first communion and confirmation at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. She later accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior and joined the Upper Room Bible Church. On November 25, 1994, Antionette married Brain T. Williams. She and Brain would attend outings and travel with his family as well as play cards with their friends. She enjoyed baking, watching her favorite television shows, going to the movie, attending stage plays, making crafts shows. She worked at Children’s Hospital and City Hall early in her career. She retired from the State of Louisiana, Office of Public Health, as an Administrative Assistant Coordinator, after 33 years of service. Antionette was an easy going and fun-loving person. Anyone who knew her well, knew how much she loved to shop!!! Antionette is survived by her husband of 30 years Brian T. Williams, her sisters, Theresa Williams, Marion Sterling, and Marietta Gasper. Her sisters-in-laws, Noreen W. Johnson and Stepphanie Williams, along with a host of nieces, nephews, godchildren, cousins, and friends. Antionette is preceded in death by her parents, Marion Kenner Jones and James Jones, Sr, her brother James Jones, Jr, and nephew Julian Sterling, her in-laws, Herbert Williams, Sr, and Marie Williams, Herbert Williams, Jr, Rev. Barry Williams, Janice Williams, and Gayle Williams. Antionette will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life on Saturday November 16, 2024, at 9:00am Ecclesia Family Church at 2131Huey P. Long Avenue Gretna, La. Visitation will begin at 8:00 a.m. until 8:45 a.m. Interment: Mount Olivet, 4000 Norman Mayer, NOLA. Arrangements entrusted to Heritage Funeral Directors,4101 St Claude Ave., New Orleans, LA.,70117.
