Alvin Watson

Alvin (Santa Clause) Watson departed this earthly life on Thursday, May 24, 2018. He was 50 years old. Alvin is survived by four daughters, Wendrika, Wandrika, Alvinika and Alvineisha Lewis; and one son, Dominick Taylor. He is also survived by five siblings, Linda, Ida, Amos, Calvin and Darrin Watson; 11 grandchildren, four aunts, three uncles and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Alvin was preceded in death by his parents, Amos Morris and Virginia Watson Peterson. A funeral service celebrating his life will be held Friday, June 8, 2018 at 10:00 AM at True Vine Baptist Church, 2008 Marigny Street, New Orleans, LA 70117. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until the hour of service. Interment Resthaven Memorial Park, 10400 Old Gentilly Road, New Orleans, LA 70127.
