Ruby Webber entered into eternal rest on October 2, 2017. She was born on March 20, 1937 in Plaquemine, LA to the late Isaiah and Dorothy Wilson. She leaves to cherish her memories, her loving husband, Isaac Webber, Sr., and her devoted children and their spouses: Jerry, Felecia (Charles), Anthony (Regina), Belinda (Anthony), Sheila (Roman), Vanessa (Spencer), Isaac, Jr., and Valerie. 

 

She was a devoted grandmother to 21 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She is also survived by 4 sisters, Betty Jean, Dorothy, Rosetta and Alviner. She also leaves behind 1 brother, Roger (Lois) and her dear sister in law, Audrey. She was preceded in death by her parents and 4 sisters and 3 brothers. She received Christ at an early age and was an active member of the St. James Methodist Church where she served on their mother's board.

 

Her homegoing services will be held on Monday, October 9, 2017 at 7:30 pm at St. James Methodist Church, 1925 Ursulines, NOLA 70116. Visitation will begin at 6:30 pm until the hour of service. Rev. Joseph Tilly will be officiating. Dismissal services will be at 8:00 am on October 10, 2017.
